20th Annual Strike a Chord Gala - Night at the Awards

Heartland Family Service is now gearing up for the annual Strike a Chord Gala. This year will be the 20th annual event. Our mission is to help thousands of people in need in communities across southwest Iowa. All proceeds collected at this event will support the life-saving services our agency offers to our clients each year. That includes Heartland Bridges, Peer Support, Child & Family Center, etc. Our theme this year is “Night at the Awards.” This is Heartland Family Service’s largest annual fundraiser in Iowa and will take place at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs Friday, June 7 beginning at 6:00 P.M. Individual tickets for the event are priced at $90, but more options and sponsorship opportunities are available. Last call for tickets is May 13 this year. In 2023, Heartland Family Service netted more than $106,000 to serve individuals, children, and families. We often tell people when they’re donating they’re investing in the community. There will also be games, a silent auction, and a live auction at our Strike a Chord event. Hor D'oeuvres will be served at 6:00 P.M. and dinner will be served at 7:30 P.M. on June 7.
